Prohibited Events and Acceptable Use
Version 2026-10-16
Prohibited events
A host may not list or sell tickets for an event that is unlawful, or that the host has no right to hold. Prohibited events include anything involving sexual content with minors, non-consensual sexual activity, human trafficking, illegal drugs, unlawful weapons, gambling that the host is not licensed to offer, or a real risk of serious violence.
A host may not list an event that infringes someone else’s trademark, copyright, or name, or that pretends to be another organizer. Alcohol service without the license the venue requires is prohibited. Hate events whose purpose is to incite violence against a person or group are prohibited.
Acceptable use of the platform
You may not scrape, probe, or overload the service, bypass a ticket limit, forge a QR code, take over another person’s account, or use buyer information for a purpose other than the event. You may not upload malware or a flyer you have no right to use.
SoldSeat may remove an event, suspend a host, refuse a payout, and report conduct to the payment network or to law enforcement. Removal does not limit the host’s duty to refund buyers or to cover chargebacks.
