SOLDSEAT LLC

Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-16

Who we are

This policy describes how SoldSeat LLC collects and uses personal information in the United States. It applies to buyers, hosts, and people who write to support. It is not a promise about a host’s own list once the host has received buyer information for an event.

Information we collect

Buyers: name, email, optional phone, the tickets purchased, the amount paid, and the QR status. We do not store full card numbers. Card details stay with Stripe.

Hosts: account name and email, the organization name, the payout contact, and the know-your-customer details the host submits (legal name, date of birth, address, phone, and a payout method hint such as the last four digits). If Stripe Identity is turned on, identity images and document numbers stay with Stripe. We store the verification result.

Use of the site: IP address, browser user agent, and the time and version of a legal agreement you accept. Security checks may use Cloudflare Turnstile.

How we use it

We use this information to sell and deliver tickets, scan them at the door, prevent fraud, pay hosts, recover refunds and chargebacks, keep the acceptance record of our agreements, and respond to support. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

Stripe processes payments and, when enabled, identity verification. Resend or our SMTP provider sends ticket, sign-in, password, and agreement email. Vercel hosts the application. Neon stores the database. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form was submitted by a person. A host receives buyer name, email, phone if provided, and ticket status only for that host’s event, and only to run the event, admit guests, and handle refunds. Door staff see the ticket code and scan status, not card details.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage that are needed to keep you signed in, to protect forms, and to remember a checkout. We do not use those cookies to sell advertising profiles. Your browser can block cookies, and parts of sign-in and checkout will then not work.

Retention

We keep order, ticket, payout, and legal-acceptance records for as long as we need them for tax, fraud, chargeback, and dispute purposes, and then delete or de-identify them when we no longer need them. A password-reset link is short-lived. Sign-in codes expire in minutes. You may ask us to delete an account that has no open order, dispute, or unpaid host balance.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you may ask us to know, correct, or delete personal information, and to stop a sale or share of it. SoldSeat does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authority.
